Shooting Product Shots with a Photoflex LiteDome / Black leather shoes

When it comes to shooting professional-looking product shots, it is imperative to use good lighting tools. The softbox is arguably the most important of these tools. A well-designed softbox will provide you with even, diffused light that will render your subject beautifully and naturally.

If you use a strobe system, you will want to outfit the heads with the right softboxes. For this final shot (above), we used a Photoflex Medium LiteDome to serve as our main light and a Photoflex Small HalfDome to serve as a narrow fill light. This lesson illustrates the advantages of shooting with these and other types of light modifiers.
