Using Umbrellas in Fashion Shoots / Young man portrait

When it comes to shooting fashion or portraits, using an umbrella is an inexpensive and time-saving alternative. The cost of an umbrella, or in this case an umbrella kit, makes a good choice for those on a budget.

If set up and tear down time is a factor you need to consider for your photo shoots, using an umbrella kit is also a good choice to consider.

One factor you must also take into account is, in most cases, when you compare results from both a softbox and an umbrella, you will see greater contrast in the images using an umbrella.
