Experimenting with Reflections / Drink glass and cherries

There are many variables to watch for when it comes to lighting translucent objects.

In addition to determining the placement of a light source, it is crucial to study the light passing on and through these objects.

Thrown in with other variables like reflective surfaces and refractive glass (not to mention choices of color, composition and contrast), there are a lot of elements to play with when building a shot.

This lesson will demonstrate some trade techniques for lighting for such objects, as well as tips for framing up with a digital camera.
