You’ve taken the shot. Now what?

Oftentimes, small businesses need to create their own marketing collateral, but they don’t have the budget to hire out ad agencies or graphic designers to create marketing materials. With a few simple design tips, however, anyone can create eye-catching presentations.

This lesson uses Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe InDesign CS3 and shows how to take photographs and turn them into marketing collateral. For this project, we needed to create a poster for an event featuring acclaimed photographer Fernando Escovar co-sponsored in Los Angeles.

The techniques used here can be applied to a variety of marketing collateral, including postcards, posters, advertisements, catalogs, counter cards, and more.
